Hello, it's me! I know I've been quiet for a while. And haven't had any new books.
I aologize for that. Delay of Game has been delayed way too long. Sorry. A combination of things have caused my lack of writing. Stress is a big one. Health issues is another.
I have Lymphedema in my leg/foot, and after 20 years of suffering, was finally diagnosed in 2022. It is something I will have forever. That's been part of my stress. It takes daily pt on my part and that can be mentally exhausting. Plus LE actually causes exhaustion, so there's that.
Trying to push by all that has been challenging. Add a creative block to the mix, and stress, and it's been hard to write.
I get ideas of books I want to write, I just can't seem to put words down.
I've also been dealing with some arm issues. It feels like a nerve issue, but it's muscle related. I think we finally discovered the point of origin and how to help it, but it's going to take time. It makes typing uncomfortable. Some days I don't even want to open the laptop.
All in all 2023 has been a stress-filled year!
I am looking forward to a better 2024, and can hopefully get out of this writers block. I am grateful to all the readers who have been waiting patiently.
I don't want anyone to think I've left the writing community, I'm still here! I'm just in the background for the time being... I miss creating characters and bringing them to life. I can't wait to rediscover that passion.
